- 15 businesses are new donors, with the remaining 75 previously donating to the project before.
- The majority of businesses who donate are independent, meaning they are not part of a chain. 16% of businesses are classed as “national”, and they donated breaks from 30 different sites.
- The self catering property donated by Ben Society year round had 58% occupancy
- The value of breaks donated to the project was £53,894. 19% of donations were not used for various reasons such as a short turnaround or not suitable to carers needs.
- By the end of 2019, we aim to have received £104,000 in donated breaks

Carer Organisations
- 14 local authority areas are now operating Respitality locally, across 13 organisations.
- Aberdeenshire joined the Respitality family within this time period.
- By the end of 2019, we aim to have recruited at least 1 more new local authority areas to deliver Respitality locally for carers to access.
A massive thank you to the carers organisations for producing these statistics, and to all the donors that have helped make Respitality breaks possible in Scotland!
